The Dubai Real Estate Broker Program, a flagship initiative under the Dubai Social Program 33, has seen impressive early success. Since March, the Dubai Land Department has received over 1,000 registrations from UAE citizens. The program has already formed over 25 strategic partnerships with private sector developers and brokerage firms.

“These initial positive outcomes highlight the enthusiasm of citizens to pursue careers as real estate brokers, and acknowledge Dubai’s real estate sector as crucial both locally and globally,” noted Sir Marwan bin Ghalita in an interview.

He further emphasized the strong commitment of Dubai’s real estate companies to foster initiatives aimed at cultivating local talent. Efforts are currently focused on significantly increasing the number of citizens employed in the private sector, enhancing their productivity, and boosting their economic contribution.

Real estate companies are steadily joining the broker alliance, and the Department plans to achieve all the ambitious goals of the “Dubai Real Estate Brokers” program in the near future. For instance, the number of Emirati real estate brokers is projected to increase from 5% to 15% within the next three years.

Through partnerships with the private sector, participants will receive support packages aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of UAE citizens and positioning them in the real estate sector. The package includes the development and implementation of high-quality projects, collaboration on joint ventures to stimulate growth, fostering innovation and sustainability, and providing guidance and professional training to UAE citizens.
